Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary (List Format): - Provide professional nursing care to a designated group of patients using the nursing process and current nursing practices. - Perform all unit-specific responsibilities within the scope of service. - Conduct initial patient assessments upon admission and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers. - Implement and modify nursing interventions and care plans based on ongoing patient evaluation. - Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of nursing care and patient records. - Ensure patient and staff safety by adhering to safety standards, correcting safety hazards, and reporting incidents. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to support patient care and a positive work environment. - Offer constructive feedback to peers and participate in professional development activities. - Identify personal learning needs and take initiative for continuing education and competency development. - Fulfill all departmental and unit-specific competencies and requirements. - Apply emergency department (ED) nursing procedures and theories as required by the department.
