Details Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within an acute care hospital Day shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 7:00 to 19:00 36 or 48 hours per week Patient ratios of 1:4-5 Weekend rotation required No on-call requirements Floating required to other units as needed based on facility staffing needs No block scheduling greater than three or four shifts Requirements Active KS or compact RN license required BLS and ACLS certification required Minimum of 1 year of PCU experience required, including IV start proficiency Meditech charting system experience required Skilled in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Negative 13-panel drug screen required within 30 days of lab visit Additional Information Level 3 Trauma acute care hospital with 149 staffed beds Scrubs of any color accepted; OR, L&D, and Cath Lab scrubs provided by facility Free parking available onsite Must report to the lab within 24 hours of signing for required drug screening Expect to work some holidays RTO must be approved and documented prior to the start of the assignment, with minimal requests preferred First-time travelers are welcome to apply Must reside within a 60-mile radius to be considered local American Traveler Job ID P-780795.
