Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal outcomes for our patients. Schedule This role requires working three 12-hour shifts during the night, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Travel nurses will also be required to work at least every other holiday.

Qualifications Must possess a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license. At least 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty being applied for is required. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA or the American Red Cross is mandatory.

NIH certification must be obtained prior to the start of employment. Proficiency in using Epic software is required. One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is necessary for qualification.

Orientation and Assessment During orientation, travelers will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a SafeMedicate assessment. A passing score on both assessments is necessary for successful completion of orientation.
