This position involves providing nursing care to inpatient adults facing actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing complex cardiovascular cases and will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Shift Information Shift: Night shift, 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, subject to change based on operational needs Responsibilities Administer and monitor vasoactive drug therapy and antiarrhythmic drug therapy Provide thrombolytic therapy as required Perform defibrillation and cardioversion procedures Conduct thoracentesis and other special procedures Monitor patients through cardiac telemetry and EKG Utilize non-invasive blood pressure monitoring techniques Float to various units or other facilities as needed Qualifications Active SC RN license Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a cardiac or telemetry setting At least 1 year of EPIC electronic health record experience Preference for candidates with prior experience in similar fields; first-time travelers may be considered based on overall experience Patient Population The patient population will primarily consist of adults with serious cardiovascular conditions such as: Sepsis Myocardial Infarction (MI) Unstable Angina Coronary Artery Disease Patients requiring IV antiarrhythmic therapy and vasoactive infusions Patients undergoing anticoagulation therapy Join Us If you are a skilled RN passionate about providing exceptional care to cardiac patients, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
