Details Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting 13-week assignment with 2 openings available Scheduled for 3 twelve-hour shifts per week plus 4 twelve-hour call shifts within a 6-week period Night shift availability required Float to similar units as needed Requirements Active RN license (SC state or compact) required Current BLS certification (AHA only) Current NRP certification (AHA only) Minimum 2 years of experience required Nursys verification required within 30 days of start Additional Information Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis Provide age-specific nursing interventions consistent with plan of care and standards of practice Foster a caring, compassionate, and respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff Contribute to department performance through precepting and mentoring novice staff Participate in hospital-system initiatives and evidence-based practice efforts Engage in continued professional growth through goal setting and educational offerings American Traveler Job ID P-771637.
