Details Cardiac Stepdown unit within an acute care hospital setting Neuro medical surgical patient population Night shift, 3x12 schedule with rotating every-other-weekend requirement Floating required as needed Uses EPIC EMR system Requirements Active RN license meeting MO licensure criteria or current MO license BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent stepdown experience required Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted) No employment gaps of 90 days within the past 12 months Additional Information Utilizes the nursing process to provide and coordinate patient care across departments Maintains professional accountability and evaluates care provided by other direct caregivers Upholds patient rights and confidentiality standards Black scrubs required Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1, with no declinations or exceptions accepted Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed but must be made up during the assignment Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted, though bill rate is reduced Candidates living within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the radius American Traveler Job ID P-758556.
