Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Burlington, Vermont.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 16 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical With Telemetry position supporting neurosurgical and surgical patient care within a medical-surgical and telemetry setting. The role requires clinical flexibility, experience in a large Level I trauma teaching facility, and the ability to support patient care needs across related specialty areas.

Job Details Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Schedule flexibility is required, including every other weekend as needed.

Required Qualifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, with NIHSS completed before the start date; a minimum of 2 years of experience; experience in a large Level I trauma teaching facility; experience in the required medical-surgical and telemetry specialty; and Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) experience within the past 2 years.

Additional Information: Assignment duration is 1626 weeks, with an anticipated start date of 11/30/2026 and end date of 03/21/2027. The role primarily supports a neurosurgical and surgical unit within a central medical-surgical and telemetry setting, with potential support for hematology, oncology, orthopedics, medical telemetry, general surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, ear, nose, and throat, gynecology, emergency department boarders, and surge areas. Holiday coverage may include 2 of 4 designated holidays. Block schedules are not available. Orientations occur every other Monday.
