Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel PCU Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for a position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4-5. Key Responsibilities Deliver compassionate and competent nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit. Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient conditions and communicate any changes to the healthcare team. Start IVs and manage IV therapy effectively. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in patient and family education to promote understanding of health conditions. Schedule and Work Hours Full-time positions available for 36 or 48 hours per week. Shift schedules available for 4x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00. Weekend rotation required. Floating to other units may be necessary to meet facility needs. Any requests for time off (RTO) must be pre-approved and documented prior to the assignment start date.

Qualifications Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, with demonstrated skills in IV start. Current ACLS and BLS certification is required.

Experience with Meditech charting is necessary for documentation purposes. Applicants must be located within a 60-mile radius; local candidates are accepted. Pending licenses are not accepted for this position.
