Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team as an RN Job Description: - Location: Overland Park, KS - Unit Name: Emergency Dept - General Information: - Number of Beds: 24 - Patient Ratios: 1:4 - Unit Staffing: - Unit secretary available 21 hours/day - 5 RN core staff from 10a-10p - Equipment Used: - Level 1 fluid warmer - GE monitor system - Artic Sun - Lifepak - Alaris pumps - Documentation System: Meditech - Scheduling Requirements: - Every third weekend - Mid-shift schedule (shifts start as early as 10a-2230, as late as 1300-0130) - Floating Policy: Rarely used; only if other staff are flexed home - Patient Experience Requirements: - Use AIDET and whiteboards - Maintain a positive attitude; strong team culture - Hiring Profile: - Requested Skill Set: - Experience as an Emergency/Trauma nurse with at least 2 years in a Level 2 trauma center - Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC, NIH - Advanced skills in trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, sepsis, and triage - Procedures: All procedures associated with a Level 2 trauma center - Preferred Certifications: CEN or TCRN - Dress Code: - Cobalt blue top and solid black or cobalt blue pants - Closed-toe shoes Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
