This position involves providing comprehensive patient care on a Med Surg unit, ensuring the highest level of support and attention to detail for our patients.

Shift Details Shift Length: 12 hours Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Unit Information Unit Type: Medical Surgical Patient Ratio: 1:6 Nurse Aides available on the unit Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Floating between units may be required Responsibilities The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the following: Providing high-quality patient care in the Med Surg unit. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans. Managing IV therapy and performing assessments on a variety of patients. Assisting with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers. Documenting patient progress and changes in EMR (Meditech).

Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience. Must have at least 1 travel assignment experience.

Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS. Ability to adapt to changing assignments throughout the shift.

Additional Information Common diagnoses/treatment areas include Ortho, Neuro, Oncology, and Acute Care. Telemetry monitoring is available on various units. Pharmacy and respiratory therapy services are available 24/7. Floor-specific orientation will be provided.
