Details Telemetry unit within a Level 1 Trauma hospital setting Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30) Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 Every other weekend (EOW) required Floating to other Telemetry floors as needed Epic charting system experience required; Cerner preferred Requirements Active FL or Compact RN license required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS via AHA TNCC certification preferred Minimum 2 years of recent, consecutive Telemetry experience within the past 24 months in a US hospital Level 1 Trauma experience required Degree from an accredited nursing school or FBON-approved institution Skilled in IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, cardiac monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation and management Experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration)

Experience with isolation precautions/PPE and medication administration Experience with non-invasive airway management and nasal cannula Must pass a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks Additional Information Provide direct patient care to Telemetry patients, including cardiac monitoring and emergency response Must work 23 major holidays, covering both eve and day shifts as needed No block scheduling requests accepted Smoke-free facility Required to pass a Basic Arrhythmia assessment; must achieve 100% in lethal rhythm section and 83% or higher in all other sections Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are considered at a lower pay rate Former Broward Health permanent employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler American Traveler Job ID P-778056.
