Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/22/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Emergency Room Pediatric Registered Nurse. Provides direct nursing care to pediatric patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. The role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, effective care coordination, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.

Job Details Required Qualifications: Active nursing license; license and certificate verification required.

Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Additional Information: Provides care across neonatal, infant, early childhood, late childhood, adolescent, young adult, middle adult, and older adult populations.

Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring patient care plans, documenting and communicating patient conditions, coordinating care across disciplines, carrying out physician and nursing orders, and supporting discharge planning. The emergency department includes trauma, fast-track, and vertical-care rooms and operates as a Level 3 trauma center. Standard precautions and required personal protective equipment must be followed.
