Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Marion, Illinois.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Emergency Room, Marion, Illinois. This position provides emergency nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department and requires adaptability, resilience, and strong clinical judgment. The assignment includes overnight shifts and collaboration across the healthcare facility within the registered nurses skill set.

Job Details Required Qualifications: Illinois registered nurse license; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; Associate degree or certificate; at least 2 years of Emergency Room experience; at least 2 completed travel contracts; critical access experience; ventilator experience; and drip titration experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree; charge experience; and EPIC experience.

Schedule: Nights on 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday rotation.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: This is a 13-week assignment from 11/16/2026 through 02/14/2027. The emergency department has 12 beds with a 1:34 patient ratio. Staff members must be adaptable, flexible, resilient, and able to manage change effectively. Navy blue scrubs are required, without competing health system or agency logos.
