Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Requires a minimum of 18 months of progressive care unit (PCU) nursing experience Responsible for providing direct patient care in a PCU setting Monitors and assesses patient conditions, recognizing and responding to changes in status Collaborates with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans Administers medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed Documents patient information accurately and timely Requires current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Requires current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Maintains compliance with hospital policies and safety standards Provides patient and family education as needed Med Ninjas Job ID 20687.
