Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary (Staff Registered Nurse - RN): - Provides direct patient care for an assigned group within a designated time frame using the nursing process and institutional philosophy. - Performs unit-specific responsibilities and duties within the defined scope of service. - Implements nursing theories, procedures, and best practices relevant to area of practice. - Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation of all nursing care provided. - Conducts initial patient assessments and develops individualized care plans based on patient and family needs. - Executes and regularly updates patient care plans, interventions, and procedures. - Continuously evaluates and modifies care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. - Promotes patient and employee safety by identifying and addressing safety hazards and incidents. - Communicates effectively with team members, resolving issues both directly and privately when needed. - Provides constructive feedback and supports the professional development of peers. - Collaborates with colleagues to enhance nursing knowledge and skills. - Identifies personal learning needs and proactively seeks solutions. - Meets all departmental competency requirements.
