This position supports adult cardiac patients in a progressive care setting, including cardiac observation, post-cardiac catheterization care, and cardioversion recovery. The role requires strong communication, flexibility, and a team-oriented approach while providing care in a telemetry-equipped unit.

Job Details Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; every other weekend.

Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; two years of experience; step-down or intensive care unit experience.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: Assignment is based in a 22-bed progressive care unit with a typical patient ratio of 4:1. Patient population includes adults receiving cardiac observation, post-cardiac catheterization care, and cardioversion treatment. Telemetry monitoring is utilized. No call requirements. Orientation occurs biweekly. Navy scrubs are required; offensive tattoos and non-facility tops are not permitted.
