Type: Travel assignment Setting: Adult Medical Telemetry Unit Location: Salem, MA 01970 Region: North Shore Massachusetts / Greater Boston area Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 10/18/2026 Shift: 12-hour nights Hours per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910-$2,010 Charting System: EPIC Floating: Required Schedule Notes: Rotating shifts may be required to help cover open night shifts; every-other-weekend coverage is expected Job Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in one location Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience Ability to read cardiac telemetry strips and identify rhythm changes Active Massachusetts RN license AHA BLS certification Experience caring for adult medical patients in a telemetry or cardiac monitoring setting Strong adaptability, teamwork, and patient-centered communication skills Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system preferred Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to adult medical telemetry patients on a busy inpatient unit Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, cardiac strips, and patient status changes Assess patients, develop care plans, and document accurately in EPIC Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the care team to support safe patient outcomes Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 4 to 5 patients per RN Float as needed and adapt to changing unit needs in a fast-paced healthcare environment Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting a positive unit culture Why Apply for This Travel Nursing Job?
