About the Facility Methodist Hospital's inpatient rehabilitation department is a 32-bed unit supported by an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. The department includes approximately 35 therapists and 50 nursing staff members across its staffing complement. Day-shift staffing includes approximately eight Physical Therapists, eight Occupational Therapists, a rehabilitation aide, nurses, patient care technicians, and a unit coordinator.

Clinical Environment: Inpatient rehabilitation evaluations and treatment Approximately 5.5–6 hours of patient treatment expected, subject to clarification Interdisciplinary collaboration with nursing, OT, and rehabilitation staff Rehabilitation equipment including H200/L300 and BURT Meditech electronic medical records Potential floating to other Methodist inpatient rehabilitation departments Candidate Requirements Minimum one year of Physical Therapist experience Basic knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation Active Texas PT license or appropriate practice authorization Current BLS certification Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team Flexibility to work at least two weekends per four-week period Previous inpatient rehabilitation experience strongly preferred Dress Code: Black pants and olive scrub top.
