Details PCU setting caring for cardiac drip, stroke/neuro, trach care, thoracic surgery, IR procedural, and post-op patients Telemetry work setting Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30), with 4x12 options available Weekend requirement No on-call requirement 30-minute meal break Required to float to 9 BT units plus overflow areas, with rare floating to a facility approximately 30 minutes away Requirements Active Illinois RN license in hand required (no emergency or pending licenses accepted) BLS certification required through AHA ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred 2 years of RN experience required BSN required 1 year of direct relevant experience required Skills checklist and 2 professional references required, with one reference from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge RN within the last year All RTO must be submitted with the application and cannot be added afterward Additional Information Provide nursing care for PCU patients including cardiac drip management, stroke/neuro monitoring, trach care, and post-surgical patients May be required to float to a different unit or facility upon manager request Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate Candidates with prior employment at the health system or its acquired facilities must disclose this employment history Non-licensed direct patient caregivers not listed as eligible in the IL Healthcare Worker Registry must complete in-person fingerprinting in Illinois prior to their start date American Traveler Job ID P-769703.
