Details Operating Room unit in a Level III trauma hospital Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric cases Must be proficient in General, OB, Ortho, ENT, Trauma, Plastics, and Ophthalmology cases Day shift schedule, 8 or 10 hour shifts, 40 hours per week Call required 6-7 shifts per week Weekend call rotation required every 4th or 5th weekend Uses Cerner EMR Requirements Active NH or compact RN license required BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA) required and must be in hand at profile upload Required circulating OR experience Scrub experience preferred but not required Previous travel experience highly preferred Must have own vehicle for this assignment Operating Room skills checklist required for consideration One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required Permanent address required in profile Additional Information Perform circulating RN duties across a wide range of surgical specialties Holiday coverage required including Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend Candidates must not be seeking to work this assignment alongside another permanent placement or travel assignment RTO requests must be submitted at time of profile submission; requests after offer or interview will not be approved No more than 3 days of RTO accepted for this assignment Candidates must live 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted First-time travelers may be considered given relevant OR experience American Traveler Job ID P-780853.
