Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Post Partum Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Postpartum, Wausau, WI. This 13-week contract position supports postpartum and Labor and Delivery services through comprehensive patient care in a variable-acuity setting. The assignment is scheduled to begin on 11/16/2026 and includes 12-hour night shifts.

Job Details Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license; Bachelors degree; minimum of 2 years of postpartum nursing experience; Labor and Delivery competency.

Certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).

Preferred Qualifications: Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience, preferably with EPIC.

Schedule: Night shift consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Additional Information: Weekend rotation is every third weekend, with every other holiday rotation. Mandatory on-call participation may be required for up to 20 hours within a six-week block, and low-census call may occur. The role supports an 11-bed Labor and Delivery unit and an 8-bed postpartum unit with approximately 1,350 deliveries annually. During flu season, individuals who decline influenza and COVID-19 vaccination must wear a mask at all times.
