Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Hours Per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 - $2,600 Start Date: 10/19/2026 Weekend Coverage: Required Floating: Required to support related pediatric and intensive care units as needed Orientation: 36 hours Job Requirements Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand Minimum 2 years of PICU or CVPICU nursing experience preferred Experience in a larger Pediatric Intensive Care Unit strongly preferred Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required Strong experience with pediatric critical care equipment, procedures, and monitoring Comfortable floating to related pediatric, cardiac, and intensive care units as needed Two supervisory references required at time of submission Ability to work collaboratively in a high-acuity, team-based healthcare environment Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care for pediatric patients with complex critical care needs Monitor and manage patients with congenital heart disease, heart failure, and post-surgical cardiac conditions Support ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, arterial line care, and chest tube management Assist with advanced interventions including intubation support, central line care, and vasoactive medication management Deliver safe, family-centered care in a fast-paced PICU environment Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes Float to related units based on patient care needs and assignment demands Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold clinical excellence throughout the assignment Why Columbus, Ohio?
