Details Progressive Care Unit providing care to adult Neuro/Stroke patients with telemetry capability 28-bed unit with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:5-6 Supported by PCTs, a Healthcare Unit Coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor techs for telemetry patients Day shift schedule from 06:30 to 19:00 13-week assignment Requirements Active RN license, Standard or Compact (OK accepted) BLS certification required, must be AHA NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required Minimum 1 year of RN experience required Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start Additional Information Implements and monitors patient care plans while recording and communicating patient condition Coordinates care across disciplines and carries out physician and nursing orders Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs with the healthcare team Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment Follows Standard Precautions using appropriate personal protective equipment Local candidates accepted, subject to a radius rule that may affect pay rate COVID-19 vaccination is not required American Traveler Job ID P-781485.
