The position provides patient-centered care in a progressive care setting for patients requiring telemetry monitoring and intravenous drip management. The role supports a collaborative care team and may involve treatment of patients with varying acuity levels.

Job Details Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Telemetry Certification; demonstrated intravenous drip experience and progressive care telemetry competency.

Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a cardiac unit.

Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: Patient assignments typically range from four to six patients, depending on acuity.

Responsibilities may include blood transfusions, intravenous drip titration, pain medication, medication administration, and use of infusion pumps, medication dispensing equipment, temporary pacing boxes, and ventricular assist device equipment. Rotating weekends and holidays are required, with no on-call shifts.
