Details Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM-7:00 AM) 13-week assignment length No on-call requirements Floating required to Med/Surg Tele, Med Surg Neuro, Med Surg Onc, Med Surg Ortho, and general Medical Surgical units Occasional floating to a sister facility (University District) may be required Epic EMR experience preferred Requirements Active Oregon RN license required (pending license applications accepted) BLS certification required ACLS, NIHSS, and Chemo certifications preferred Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg acute care experience required Travel experience preferred, though first-time travelers will be screened for consideration Skilled in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and dysrhythmia interpretation/management Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, peripheral line care, and PICC line management Two professional references from the past 2 years required, with at least one from a supervisor SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Tele unit including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, and line care duties as part of daily responsibilities First-time travelers will be considered and screened Local candidates are not accepted; must reside 60 miles from the facility Previous PeaceHealth employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a travel RN RTO must be disclosed and approved prior to contract signing, with limits based on offer type Candidates with more than one DUI are not eligible for consideration Vaccination status must be disclosed as part of the application process American Traveler Job ID P-767176.
