Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Medical Cardiology Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description This position is for a Medical Cardiology Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry with a focus on excellent patient care and monitoring. The role involves working nights and every other weekend, totaling 36 hours per week. Unit Overview The position is within a 24-bed Medical Cardiology unit specializing in telemetry and post-cardiac procedures. Key Responsibilities Monitor and interpret telemetry strips and manage cardiac drips. Provide post-cardiac care for procedures including PCI, ICD, PPM, and ablation. Assist with the TR Band and femoral approach patient care as required. Required Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, focusing on a strong cardiac background.

Experience working as a traveler is preferred. Patient Care The registered nurse will maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6 during the night shifts to ensure the best quality of care.

Qualifications Active RN license for Massachusetts. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

Skills Required Strong telemetry and cardiology skills. Ability to read telemetry strips accurately. Competency in managing cardiac drips. Wellspring Nurse Source Job ID 38504214.
