Details Work in a Level 2 Trauma Emergency Department covering Main ED and PBED, 37 beds Patient ratio of 1:4 within zone assignments Uses GE monitors for patient equipment Charts in Meditech EMR Night shift schedule, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM 4 weekend shifts required within a 4-week period No on-call requirements Floating to ED patients admitted to hospital holding in the ED Requirements Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required Meditech EMR experience required Strong patient experience and communication skills required Additional Information Provide direct patient care within a high-acuity Level 2 Trauma ED setting Work alongside a team structure including charge RNs, staff RNs, and techs/paramedics on each shift Royal blue scrub top and bottom required for dress code High energy, self-motivated, and amicable personality preferred for team fit Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months American Traveler Job ID P-758984.
