Details Surgical and Neuroscience ICU unit caring for trauma, surgical, and neurological patients at a Trauma Level One facility Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Every other weekend required Rotating holiday coverage required 48-hour weeks accepted for interested candidates Epic EMR used Requirements Active NY RN license required at time of consideration AHA or RQI issued certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required, including trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients Trauma Level One experience required Previous travel nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted Medical exemption signed by a licensed professional required for flu vaccine exemption; personal or religious exemptions not accepted Competency test must be completed within 24 hours of consideration Additional Information Navy blue scrubs required Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are not eligible, specifically those living in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties No blocked scheduling allowed More than 3 call-offs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks Requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration American Traveler Job ID P-769446.
