Details Work in the Emergency Department of a teaching hospital Patient ratio of 1:4 Comfortable caring for pediatric patients in the ED Evening shift schedule (3x12 hours, 14:00-02:30) 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule required Uses Epic EMR Requirements Active CA RN license required (EMSA not accepted)

BSN required Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (TNCC and NIHSS preferred) Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Teaching hospital experience preferred Prior charge nurse experience preferred Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy, central line care, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP management, ABG interpretation, and care of ventilated patients Experience with isolation precautions/PPE and triage Additional Information Provide emergency care for adult and pediatric trauma and acute patients Navy blue scrubs provided Previous travel assignment experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered RTO must be submitted with initial profile and kept under 7 days per assignment if possible Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate Former UCLA contractors, travelers, or employees must complete a 12-month separation and clearance before reapplying Candidates currently active with any University of California entity are not eligible American Traveler Job ID P-780740.
