Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Chamberlain, South Dakota.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery Department. The position provides nursing care across Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics, the Emergency Room, and Medical-Surgical settings. The role requires the ability to function independently while supporting a rotating schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and call shifts.

Job Details Required Qualifications: Two years of Registered Nurse experience; at least six months of Medical-Surgical experience within the past year; at least six months of Obstetrics experience within the past year; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; active nursing license or willingness to obtain one before start; ability to function independently in the Emergency Room and care for up to five patients in a Medical-Surgical unit.

Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.

Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday, with three call shifts required during a 13-week contract.

Additional Information: The role floats between Obstetrics and Medical-Surgical units. Orientation includes one day of Obstetrics training and one day of Medical-Surgical training. Navy-blue scrubs without logos are required.
