Details Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population Day/Night rotating shifts, 3x12 hours (7:00-19:30 or 19:00-7:30) Shifts may be adjusted to meet operational needs of the hospital, though preferred schedules will be accommodated when possible Required to work at least every other holiday Requirements Active OH RN license or compact license in hand Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross) Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, with medical/religious exemptions only Additional Information Provide direct patient care to med/surg telemetry patients Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with an acceptable score required Annual hands-on competency training required for candidates on continuous or returning contracts Permanent and per diem candidates must wait 1 year from previous end date before returning Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate First-time travelers are not required to have prior travel experience to be considered American Traveler Job ID P-780796.
