Details 34-bed Med/Surg Tele unit in a short-term acute care hospital Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (1900-0730) Level II Trauma Center within the Yale New Haven Health System Required to work every other weekend and holidays as needed Floating required as needed Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active CT or compact RN license required BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of recent experience in specialty required (1.5 years considered with Level I trauma or travel experience) Previous travel experience required Skills required include IV therapy/phlebotomy, central line blood draws, PICC line management, cardiac monitoring, telemetry (unit and remote), wound care, and respiratory care including tracheostomy and oxygen administration One professional reference required Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted COVID vaccine and booster required with religious or medical exemption only Additional Information 10-week contract specifically for winter coverage Must start by 12/18/2026 Local radius restrictions waived for this assignment only No holiday RTO permitted Maximum of 5 days RTO allowed Returning staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler Free parking provided on-site American Traveler Job ID P-781302.
