Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU Job Description We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This position requires dedication and the ability to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients in the CVICU, ensuring safety and comfort. Monitor patient vitals and respond quickly to changes in condition. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Utilize advanced medical equipment, including ventilators, Swan-Ganz catheters, and balloon pumps. Perform IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and conscious sedation as required. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop patient care plans.

Float within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity as needed. Schedule 36 hours per week with night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00 - 07:30). Up to 6 weekend shifts in a 4-week scheduling period.

Rotating holidays required.

Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Strong skill set in IV starts, telemetry, ventilation management, Swan-Ganz catheter procedures, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, and PA lines.

Experience with electronic health record system EPIC is required. Previous travel nursing experience is preferred. Parking Options Agency staff have several parking permit options available, including: WMC Agency Permit: Guaranteed availability at the Wexner Medical Center Garage.

WB Permit: Budget option for weekend and holiday access with shuttle service provided.
