Details Acute care hospital setting with inpatient rehab and outpatient services Patient ratio of 1:6 Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Possible Monday-Friday block schedule No weekend or on-call requirements Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs Cerner used for charting in the hospital, PCC used in LTC setting Requirements Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required BLS certification required State license required if applicable; compact license accepted Cerner charting experience preferred Travel experience required Experience across acute care, LTAC, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospital, and SNF settings preferred Skills in orthopedic and neurologic patient populations, including gait training, traction, and adaptive/assistive devices preferred Experience with modalities such as E-stim, ultrasound, and TENS preferred Additional Information Responsibilities include assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge documentation for inpatient and outpatient patients Works with geriatric, orthopedic, and cardiopulmonary patient populations Level IV trauma facility with 25 staffed beds and an attached 71-bed skilled extended care facility Free parking and free housing available Any scrub color accepted per facility dress code policy First-time travelers not accepted Local candidates accepted with no radius rule No RTO within first two weeks due to orientation; RTO limited to one week thereafter Travel pairs accepted American Traveler Job ID P-776312.
