Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Round Rock, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse Emergency Room. This contract position supports emergency care across a high-acuity setting with responsibilities that include trauma assistance, airway support, resuscitation, behavioral health de-escalation, and patient monitoring. The assignment is scheduled for 13 weeks from 11/16/2026 through 02/15/2027.

Job Details Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends and no call requirement.

Required Qualifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications: MEDITECH experience, trauma experience, inpatient holding experience, and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training.

Additional Information: Responsibilities may include splinting, electrocardiograms, central monitoring, trauma assistance, central line care, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, Morgan Lens procedures, rapid infuser use, and resuscitation. The setting includes emergency, cardiac, trauma, and behavioral health patient care with typical ratios of 1:4 in the emergency department, 1:5 in behavioral health, and 1:3 for cardiac and trauma patients. Navy blue scrubs are required.
