Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Pediatrics/PICU RN — South Dakota | ID 66064232 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of nursing experience , plus PICU experience with drip titration and mechanically ventilated patients . First-time travelers need more than 2 years of experience.

License/education: Approved nursing program and RN authorization to practice in South Dakota.

Certifications: BLS, PALS, and NIHSS required. NRP is not required.

Skills: Pediatric-to-adult assessments, medication administration, patient/family education, lab draws, IV starts, and proficient Epic charting .

Unit/ratios: 15-bed pediatric unit, 1:5 ; five-bed PICU/advanced care unit, 1:1–2 . May care for stable adult overflow.

Floating: NICU feeder/grower assignments, approximately 1:3 .

Schedule: 12-hour variable shifts , every other weekend, and holiday availability required. May be placed on low-census call.

Guaranteed hours: 36 weekly .

Interview/RTO: Clinical interview required; time off must be preapproved.

Orientation/scrubs: One facility day plus two unit days; navy scrubs.
