Details Telemetry unit caring for patients with critical or life-threatening cardiac conditions Patient population includes adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and assess hemodynamic status Administer prescribed cardiac medications and manage telemetry-approved IV drips Assist with emergency and elective cardioversions and temporary pacemaker insertions Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30 13-week assignment length Uses Epic for charting Requirements Active MA RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses accepted BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA preferred, Red Cross accepted at most locations) Ability to recognize signs of shock and other life-threatening complications Strong communication skills to interact with patients across age and cognitive levels Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed Additional Information Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver patient care Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Boston are accepted at a reduced rate Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration American Traveler Job ID P-760131.
