Job Details Specialty: Labor & Delivery Nursing Setting: On-site hospital-based obstetrics unit Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 10/12/2026 Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 block schedule Weekly Hours: 36 Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required Orientation: 36 hours Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,900 Location: Tulsa, OK 74104 Job Requirements Active RN license in Oklahoma or a Compact RN license at time of submission At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced maternal health unit preferred Basic to intermediate fetal monitoring experience required BLS and NRP required ACLS and AWHONN Intermediate preferred Travel nursing experience preferred Ability to work nights, weekends, and float to like units as needed Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate care to obstetrical patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal status Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and recovery care Perform triage and support assessment of high-risk antepartum and labor patients Administer medications and manage interventions such as Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and insulin drips as ordered Support patients with breastfeeding education, postpartum assessments, and newborn bonding initiatives Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote excellent patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility protocols and safety standards Apply now for this rewarding Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse opportunity in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and join a team committed to exceptional maternal and newborn care.
