Job Details Specialty: Labor & Delivery RN / Maternal Newborn Nursing Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Location: Frederick, Maryland Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Weekly Hours: 36 hours Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 10/21/2026 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250 Unit Setting: Labor & Delivery with OB Triage, OB Operating Rooms, and OB PACU Schedule Notes: Rotating weekends and holidays required Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in Maryland or a compact license in hand at the time of submission Minimum 3 years of current Labor & Delivery RN experience OB Triage experience required Previous travel nursing experience required Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certification required C-EFM preferred; AWHONN Intermediate accepted with expectation to obtain C-EFM if the assignment extends Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment Compliance with all onboarding and pre-start requirements Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum Support labor and delivery, recovery, and postpartum care while maintaining a patient-centered approach Assist with OB triage, circulating for C-sections, and care in the OB operating room and OB PACU Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond quickly to changes in condition Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe maternal and newborn outcomes Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold unit standards Contribute to a supportive, efficient, and positive birth experience for patients and families Apply now to join this rewarding Maryland travel nursing opportunity and make an impact in Labor & Delivery care.
