Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week Orientation: 16 hours Patient Ratio: 1:5-6 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,550-$1,630 Start Date: 10/20/2026 Registered Nurse Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience Travel nursing experience preferred Current BLS , ACLS , and NIHSS certifications Recent experience with Epic charting required Strong telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and acute care nursing skills Ability to work night shifts while maintaining excellent patient flow and safety Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to adult telemetry patients recovering from cardiac procedures and interventions Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including blood products and insulin protocols Care for patients with cardiac surgery, stent placement, pacemaker implantation, and other cardiac-related conditions Support patients requiring oxygen therapy, non-invasive airway support, and hemodynamic monitoring Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and activate rapid response resources when needed Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold unit standards Apply now to join this rewarding telemetry nursing job in Tyler, Texas and take the next step in your travel nursing career.
