Details Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:00 AM) 13-week assignment in a Level III high-risk Labor & Delivery unit May float to the High Risk OB unit (16 rooms) caring for early inductions, antepartum, and continuous monitoring patients May float to up to two nearby lower-volume hospitals within scope of practice, though floating is uncommon for L&D Every other weekend and every other holiday required Epic charting experience preferred Requirements Active NJ or Compact RN license required Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required BLS certification must not expire within 30 days of assignment start date 2.5-3 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required, within the last 12 months Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing, with only two attempts allowed on a PC (iOS devices not compatible) Active license and Nursys verification dated within 2 weeks of submission required for consideration Additional Information Provide nursing care in a high-risk Labor & Delivery setting Scrubs provided by the facility First-time travelers accepted No local rate offered Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to the local rate RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; requests after will not be accepted No RTO permitted during the first week of the assignment Block scheduling considered but not guaranteed Must be clean shaven to accommodate fit testing before working on the unit Must complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required with no exemptions American Traveler Job ID P-760301.
