Details 41-bed Medical Telemetry unit focused on Cardiology Patient population includes cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psych, substance use disorder, GU, and GI cases Clinician to patient ratios of 1:4-5 days and 1:5-6 evenings/nights Shift hours are 19:00-07:30 with every other weekend required 36 hours per week, no rotating shifts Floating required to applicable units as needed Uses Epic EMR for charting Free on-site parking available Requirements Active Massachusetts RN license (Conditional MA RN License accepted) AHA BLS certification required AHA ACLS certification preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience working in one location and 2 years of travel nursing experience Skilled in cardiac telemetry, cardiac drips, tele strip interpretation, TR bands, and high-flow oxygen administration Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry strips Additional Information Provide telemetry monitoring and nursing care for a diverse cardiac and medical patient population Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions permitted Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Boston may be considered at a reduced rate First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience level American Traveler Job ID P-744842.
