Peter Hospital Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: November 17, 2026 Shift: Nights, 3×12-hour shifts Shift Hours: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM Patient Ratio: 1:4 on weekends Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Floating: Required to similar units within scope Charting System: Epic Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics Travel Experience: Not required Pre-Approved Time Off: One request permitted Your Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients with complex cardiac and medical conditions. Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize and manage dysrhythmias. Administer and manage cardiac drips without titration, following facility protocols. Provide care for patients with CHF, TAVR, sepsis, chest pain, syncope, and cardiac arrhythmias. Assist with temporary pacemaker management, cardioversion, sheath removal, and groin-site management. Perform central-line, PICC-line, peripheral-line, and IV therapy care. Support respiratory care, including oxygen administration, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula. Respond to emergencies and collaborate with rapid response teams.
