Details Surgery department within an acute care hospital setting Day shift, 10-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday On-call required on Fridays, alternating first and second call Weekend call required approximately once every 5-6 weeks Requirements Active CA RN license required Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required Current PALS certification (AHA or ARC) required Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience required Da Vinci robotic surgery experience required BSN preferred Acute care facility experience preferred Additional Information Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process Supervises and directs nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines Collects and analyzes patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care plans Implements care plans, coordinates care delivery, and evaluates patient progress toward outcomes Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, humane, and caring treatment Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning for continuity of care Delegates and coordinates duties among healthcare team members Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates with no radius restriction Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered American Traveler Job ID P-773502.
