Details Work in the Recovery Room/PACU department of a Level 3 Emergency and Trauma Center Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Every other weekend required with rotating holiday coverage Floating required within scope as needed Uses EPIC EMR system Scrub color: black Requirements Active RN license (MO or Compact) required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS Minimum 1 year of recent PACU experience required IV therapy competency including central line care required Additional Information Deliver comprehensive nursing care including patient assessment, care planning, and family education Administer medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions while monitoring for reactions Supervise and delegate duties to unlicensed assistive personnel and ancillary staff as appropriate Recognize and respond to adverse signs, symptoms, and emergency situations Facility holds Comprehensive Cardiac Center, Primary Stroke Center, Missouri Level II Stroke Center, and Missouri Level I STEMI Center designations Up to 5 days of RTO allowed, must be made up during the assignment Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1, with client-approved exemptions only First-time travelers may be considered American Traveler Job ID P-774008.
