Details Work in a 20-bed Medical ICU within a 32-bed combined Medical/Neuro ICU unit at a tertiary care and teaching institution Care for patients with sepsis, ARDS, GI bleeds, DKA, and other medical complications Patient ratio of 1:2 Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Float to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, CTICU, or any IMC unit based on experience, with IMC patient ratios of 1:3 Uses Epic EMR Requirements Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required upon consideration Current certifications: ACLS and NIHSS Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required Epic EMR experience preferred Driver's license required for consideration Two professional references required Additional Information Provide critical care nursing within a collaborative team environment focused on outstanding patient care and communication Non-specific scrub color dress code Candidates located within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local with adjusted pay rates Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions Floating may occur within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this upon consideration American Traveler Job ID P-780881.
