Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery Department. This position supports a high-acuity maternal care unit serving complex patients across all gestational ages. The role requires clinical flexibility, strong teamwork, and the ability to manage rapidly changing patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment is 13 weeks, from 11/16/2026 through 02/15/2027.

Required Qualifications: Experience caring for high-risk maternal patients; experience circulating in the operating room; experience in triage.

Preferred Qualifications: More than 5 years of experience.

Additional Information: The unit provides care for vaginal and cesarean deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage placement and removal, and dilation and curettage procedures. Patient care includes ratios of 1:2 and 1:1. The role requires a team-oriented approach, the ability to multitask, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical setting. Navy blue scrubs are required.
