Details Work on a Neuro/Surgical Telemetry stepdown unit Patient ratio of 1:4-5 Schedule consists of 3x12-hour day shifts from 0645-1915 No on-call requirements Weekend requirement of 3 shifts per 4-week schedule Holiday availability required Float to other MS/Tele units or low acuity ICU as needed Requirements Active Tennessee or compact RN license required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 1 year of MS/Tele experience required Epic charting experience within the last 18 months required Must pass Epic competency exam on site Skills required include IV therapy, central/peripheral line care, cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and neurological/psychiatric care for CVA, pre/post neurosurgery, and traumatic brain injury patients Additional Information Provide stepdown-level nursing care for neuro and surgical telemetry patients Candidates requiring respirator fit testing must be clean-shaven Local candidates and first-time travelers are accepted at the same bill rate Travel experience preferred but not required American Traveler Job ID P-780903.
