The MRI Technologist applies technical judgment to obtain diagnostic-quality studies according to written protocols and patient needs.

Responsibilities include patient education, safety adherence, equipment maintenance, and ensuring timely transmission of images to PACS.

Required Qualifications: Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology. New York State License in Diagnostic Radiology. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified). BCLS Certified. Strong background in cross-sectional anatomy, physical sciences, and MRI physics.

Preferred Qualifications: Two years of experience in MRI.

Additional Information: Maintains safety standards to prevent the introduction of ferromagnetic material into the scan room. Adheres to infection control policies and protocols.
