Details Pediatric ICU unit within a hospital setting Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, 3 days per week CVICU and NICU experience preferred Level 1 trauma experience preferred Requirements Active OK or multistate compact RN license BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Strong knowledge of nursing theory, practices, and techniques Effective verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills Additional Information Provide direct nursing care to pediatric ICU patients with varying acuity levels Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products Collaborate with physicians to assist in diagnostic procedures and treatments Communicate care plans and discharge instructions to patients and families Delegate tasks to support staff as needed Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility Full date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration Strict compliance and credentialing deadlines must be met prior to start 30-day written notice required for early assignment cancellation Extensions limited to one time for a total of 26 weeks, with a required 6-month separation before reapplying American Traveler Job ID P-775994.
